And what is the extremist JHU saying about this. I thought MR and his kabal didn't believe in minority rights. The " song and dance " about APRC was a damn sham.

Ah my Tamil brothers and sisters, you are indeed the king makers.

According to our great king Mahinda there are no minorities.. Only those who love the Brothers and those who hate them..

Right now it seems like it is fifty-fifty Smile

I am for a fair and reasonable solution acceptable for BOTH Majority and Minorities and it should be a Sri Lankan solution.

Problems in the NE that some people like to attribute as an 'Ethnic' Problem.

I will tell you, today the crisis there is more look like an ethnic problem than ever before.  It never started out as an ethnic conflict.  However decades of LTTE war has polarized Tamils and Sinhalese much more than during our recent history.  Today most Tamils in NE have been left behind and their primary needs has to be taken care of.

For that, we need to offer a reasonable solution acceptable to Sri Lanka.

Happy???

"fair and reasonable political solution to the ethnic problem"

It is rather a strange offer by Mahinda.
where was he the last 4 years when he took the country to a foolhardy ethnic war
massacrering tens of thousands of Tamils and thousands of singhala soldiers.
wiping out whole Tamil villages and towns.
Why now.

The realisation has hit hard.
The Tamils will continue with their demands for a fair solution.
Even after the war that was declared as 'won' by the government the Tamils have
taken the country and the 2 war lords to square 1 again.

so here we are.A waste of lives, time and moniey.Above all Trust has been totally lost.
Moving forward has to be with the Tamils.
If not we go our seperate ways.
