If Miliband, Kouchner and Hilary couldn't save the terrorists in the last moment (despite various threats), how can these same hypocratic, self-appointed human right defenders pressure Sri Lanka? For them it is ok to go and bomb countries like Iraq and Afghanistan to stone-age killing thousands of civilians in the process but little Sri Lanka cannot finish off most ruthless bunch that terrorised this country for three decades!!! Look who is talking in this article, Jehan Perera. This guy together with people like Paikasothy, Sunanda Deshapriya used the war to earn huge bucks under the guise of advocating peaceful settlement to conflict. These people are now pissed off because NGO dollars might dry up now that the war is over. Remember when Fonseka made a comment to a Canadia paper to the effect that "minorities shouldn't make undue demands' it was this same gang who made a huge issue of this. That Hakeem, Ranil, Mangala, Ganeshan also joined the bandwagon can be understood. After all these are the worse betrayers of Sri Lanka in modern times. The biggest irony is that now this entire clique is working overtime to promote Fonseka. After 27th January all these people will end up in dustbin of polical history.
