Karuna is a betrayer to the LTTE, So people who trust him now should think twice!! Once you betrayed your trusted ones you can repeat it many times against anyone without a wink!!!

According to Thilak’s logic once you become a terrorist you should stick with terrorism even you realize it is wrong.

I doubt that politically politicians believe each other. They will be together on common grounds, even may be to rob.

Karuna's decision is turning out to be right - l.t.t.e is sinking by the hour;
and all those who trusted and were trusted by l.t.t.e are losing lives
in vain, and quite some are being shot at by their own 'trusted' l.t.t.e.
The word 'trust' has lost its meaning.

Absolutely right
Trust can be built from many quarters, provided we understand and read the people around us, blind faith in people is one that could shatter the trust if we build upon. Let us not loose hope.

Why is the first time special? I think, the first time just looks special because that is when others are exposed to it. so i disagree with the "once you betrayed..." part. I think that betrayers are just that way from the beginning. SL govt is a fool to allow this bloke to sit in parliament. Heck if VP turned himself in, will he be prime minister or something?
