Post Do not kill civilians
Anyone who thinks killing Sinhalese civilians will bring better conditions to Tamils are not good Hindus.

Killing anyone is forbidden in our religion. The same is true in Buddhism.

Killing is not the answer. Look for a better solution.

Has any of the sinhala leadership since independence developed policies to respect the minorities as equals and give greater power and security to the majority tamils of the north and east.

Each and every sinhala government used the tamil issue to come to power as the politics in Srilanka is mainly determined by the militant monks who want to see a Sinhala Budhists country and they do not see Srilanka as a multi-ethnic and multi-lingual country.

If it is good advice to the LTTE it should also be the best advice to the Sinhala government that kills its own citizens to please only the majority Sinhala Budhists.

This is the headline from the Colombo newspaper and this news is not censored:

Quote:
Grieving for their friend who met with an unfortunate death.
The remains of Udeshni Madhushika who was killed when an anti aircraft bullet hit her during the air attack on Friday night was brought to her resident in Obeysekerapura today. Her school friends and the father are seen in anguish grieving for her. Pic By Pradeep Dilrukshana

Do you know how many thousands of tamil civillians including children and women and old people lost their lives like this in the past 3-4 months. None of them were on the newspapers because they were tamils killed by the government.

It is easy for the sinhalease to pretend the attack on hospitals was not intentional. The sinhala government is ready to kill 100 civillians to get to one LTTE.

All these are done in the name of establishing Sinhala budhist rule in the Tamil majority north and east, against the teachings of Budhism.

No one should take advantage of budhists because they are budhists and non-violent people and  I agree that Srilanka has the right to fight violence.

But by the same standard The Sinhala Budhist government should not resort to violence and military power to suppress the Tamil's right for self-determination.

There was never a Srilankan government in the past always a Sinhala government trying to please the monks and sinhala nationalists.
