UN is focusing of 0.5% of SL population ignoring the well being of 99.5% of them.

If 0.5% to die in this war, that is because of the irresponsible actions of Tamil Diaspora and LTTE.
UN and other AID agencies should also share the burden since they provided infrastructure for LTTE to stockpile supplies.

In the future, Sri Lanka should nationalize any of the aid given for rebuilding than letting NGOs carry out their own projects in any of the regions in Sri Lanka.

It is certainly surprising.  On the other hand does it differ much from a soldier who acts to save his comrades knowing that he has no chance of survival?  I am thinking of Cpl Gamini Kularatne of Hasalaka.

I would describe it as the ultimate act of heroism. It was in the heat of battle, against armed combatants who had the upperhand at the time. Never to be confused with the suicide killing of innocent civilians going about their daily life.
