Dismal Track Record of Suicide Bombers
StratergyPage, Sun Jan 18 23:10:15 EST 2009
January 18, 2009: The terrorist organization that popularized the use of suicide bombers, the Sri Lankan LTTE, is dying in a small patch of jungle, abandoned by the Tamil minority it killed in the name of, and hunted by Sri Lankan soldiers it tried to terrorize into submission for three decades. It's yet another example of how suicide bombings don't work. In fact, this particular weapon actually backfires. Consider the facts.

Dismal Track Record of Suicide Bombers
Dismal Track Record of Suicide Bombers ... this is funny. What are they trying to say? That suicide bombers don't survive? Even in a successful attack?
I think it takes lot of courage to be a suicide bomber. Or a terrorist like the ones in India. Imagine, to walk into that knowing that the whole army will be pitted against you and that you will be dead in a few days. Such young boys too. Courage has to be appreciated for what it is.

What it say is that you can never achieve anything from human fire crackers.
The best example is Tamil Eeelam.

When these beasts go on a rampage, they have decided that the only way to handle their greivances is to kill as many innocent people as possible. They know that their action will solve nothing, except allow them a few minutes to satisfy their hatred and a chance to put themselves out of their miserable existance.
Its a clear manifestation of cowardice and the inability to face life. As for the physical act itself, a few snorts of an illegal substance can give the necessary numbness to the nerves and even a bit of a kick for the final journey. Courage it is not.

To an extend, but some Suicide bombers are 'shaped' and psychologically prepared for the process. In some cases becoming martyr motivate them. Take a child soldier, he/she will be rain washed and groomed to become a suicide bomber. This is a process, in the case of LTTE they even make videos and have the last meal with VP. Yes, suicide bombers don’t survives. Successful attack means attacker and the victim all gone.

yeah you are right. I think more than courage, it is the brainwashing. Otherwise it's plain stupid to blow yourself up. For what? whatever the cause is youare not around to see it.

The best or the worst kind of human exploitation.
The sad part is the approval by the masses behind them.
They have no value for human life, yet want better lives for themselves.
