Can any constitutional expert comment?

Familiar with these or did they ever exist?

Norwegian envoys.

Erick Solhiem  & his son visiting Vanni

Japanese envoys

Akashi

Peace Secretariat

CFA

Peace keeping monitors

Finally the Ban.

It has taken a good three years to untie the knots. Lot more to do.

No need to give any Unnecessary recognition to them. They will be dealt by an election in the North by the voters. In a democratic fashion.

What are the implications of this ban? I thought LTTE was banned in every practical sense! We have been arresting them and bombing them for the last 25 years, We have destroyed 90% of LTTE. What more to ban?

I must say the presidential proclamation banning the LTTE should sound familiar to people like Weerawansa since JVP has done pretty much everything that we claim LTTE has done to warrent a ban. Now they are in democratic politics calling themselves patriots.

As a VOTER i hope and pray that this ban will at least prevent parties from paying off LTTE to win elections.

Third world politics, singing to the followers.
Have you heard of putting the nail on the coffin?

Apprently lot of people are cheering for the ban and I am sure there will be fire crackers as well.
