 More attacks
Same old tactics by the LTTE and same old reaction by the GOSL. They always fall for this. They love their propaganda and Tigers hit back after taking their time. First an Air Attack and now this. MR and Co must not fall for their own propaganda. Please do not underestimate the enemy and their resolve. They have proven this time and again. This is a pattern the Tigers follow really well, specially when they get cornered. Wonder if anyone gave them information from inside SLAF base? And now this attack? Sounds like we are coming to a new phase.

There is some detail here:

Looks as if the attack has been thwarted.

Suicide bombing on Camps is not a new thing and no body will blame the Terrorist as they are not civilian targetst. Even the Air attack on KIA is not to be blame by any body as no civilians were targeted.
So All the forces, their commanders and politicians should get thier act together to eliminate the tigers without sleeping. Heard that there had been a commitee apointed to see postmortem of the attack. It's the standard joke.

These are all diversionary tactics of a desperate gang. The armed forces should not alter their plans on Jaffna. And remember to take out the jungle airstrip. It is also as clear as daylight that another shipment of armaments and explosives is somewhere on the horizon.!!

Yes, there's no doubt that forces should continue the offence to eliminate the terrorism. But they should do it professionally.
though it's not surprising, the latest news is that there had been pre-alert Radio messeges from the Vanni area camps of 2 air craft site's before the attack.
Just like the Galle Nave attack, this too had gone to deaf years. Perhaps the Airmen would have been busy watching the Criket match.
Pro-Active is better than Re-active in any situation.

 The Air threat to India
Our politikkas talk through their hats most of the time. Leave India alone - they can look after themselves. Lets see what needs to be done to prevent repetitions of the air strike - although this time it was a failure. We knew about the airstrip two years ago - what have we done about it? We knew that the aircraft parts came disguised as Telecom parts etc. donated by the Norway. We had aerial photos showing the planes partly hidden alongside the airstrip. What did our Defence bosses do about it? Played poker!
The photos of the planes shown on Tamilnet prove they were a very clever "panchikawatte job". They could have been smashed with a baseball bat- no need for bombs. I suppose our Air Force will want the latest hi-tech dambusters to rip open the airstrip and smash the "flying tin can".

 Nothing But Rubbish
This article is another piece of bull . from Associated Press. Suicide bombing is nothing new and in fact it has been repulsed successfully. Actual number of people killed is two. But this writer has increased it and added the bomber himself to exaggerate. Then quoted some remarks from a NGO traitor to justify.
Are they dare to say “air strike showed the Al Quida can now strike deep inside the USA” ?

Yes, you are right. LTTE is capable of Suicide attacks (why not this time?). I don’t know why LTTE didn't follow the path of Kamikaze? May be LTTE has only one or two Pilots or even may be only One Or two flying Machines

The possiblity of getting inside information is a very very likely scenario, specially given the timing or RADAR problems. On the same token, if you look at google maps, you can see most of the airport layouts in great detail. With such common availability of the location information, it may not be this difficult to locate the SLAF hangers. I guess it is high time to administer the traitors punishment to all the LTTE moles in the military regardless the ethnic origin.
