These jokers must tell this to the killer sun goat and have the meeting in Killinochi or Mulaitiu rather than in Colombo. Wonder how much they get per hour in $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. in making noises.

Sri Lanka anti-war group calls for negotiations
That's the voice of Tigers coming in a different guise. Tigers are just trying to make some breathing space until they can re-group. These Tiger representatives are actually asking for "piece" negotiations and not "peace" negotiations. The only way the country can bring back "peace" is by total eradication of Tigers (it goes without saying that include their paid servants). Its only then all sinhala, tamil and muslim communities can live together like a true family.

 How Come?
How come most characters on this forum label all those who ask for peace, as friends or agents of LTTE?
Have they been bitten by any tiger cub? Do they suffer from some form of incurable Tigerphobia?

Some hopeful news at last. This report is like a breath of fresh air! Much better than '8 dead'. '20 bombed' '10,000 homeless' etc. I hope we can see a report very soon saying that ' today no one was killed or abducted in Sri Lanka'.
By the way, I think polburuwa has chosen a very suitable user name.

I agree. For people who want to give the dieing LTTE a breath of oxygeon, this news definitely sounds like music compared to;
Maavil Aaaru sluice gates open
Sampoor liberated
Vaharei liberetated
Large ship carrying weapons for LTTE destoyed off dondra point
2 LTTE ships carrrying weapons destoyed off arugam bay etc etc..

There’s a difference between people who genuinely wish for peace and people who wish for temporary secession of hostilities in order to let LTTE re-organize. Guess which group Kumar R. falls into?

Thanks. Only a Polburuwa will understand the meaning of Polburuwa. Welcome to the family.
Peace is not giving 33% of land and 66% of coastal area to less than 7% of a total population. It is highway robbery. If sun goat stop smuggling arms of destruction and stop killing people and wage terrorist attacks against the legitimate govenmrnt and all believe this is one country and it belongs to all and it cannot be divided on ethnic lines there will be no killings and no such news items. Look at the jokers who are shouting this so called anti war slogans. They are nothing but discarded politicians and a set of people who are hell bound to talk of peace in Colombo and . in their pants when ask them to go north and tell the sun goat and its killer gang the same thing. Being hypocrites is not working for peace but deceiving people and earning money in the name of peace and working against the national interest. But they have the freedom to say whatever they like in our society and that is, the same thing denied to people under sun goat.

jack,
don't worry about these souls.
These souls want to preach poison to the poor in SL while they enjoy all the luxuries of living in west. During war these will do a mostmortem analysis sitting behind their keyboard in a airconditioned room in west. It is the poor Sri Lankans who will continue to pay for the war that these souls are spitting out.

Well said Negombo. People who make money out of others blood wants war;rest (who oppose war) branded as a terrorist. It looks like those who are against to war will be arrested under PTA inorder to implement Mahinda's Chinthanaya

Sri Lankans pay not only for war.... They have to pay additional 10% commision to the familly of Boss familly and another several millions for hidden budgets. (So boss and his familly will be richer than Bill Gates)
Wellcome Somaliya in the Indian Ocean.
By the way Siripathi must be correct that's why the boss is trying to do everything possible to shut him...!!!!
Before Siripathi was arrested people (me too) didnot care about what he said because he is also one out of bunch... Now there is a difference.

MR has done the biggest favor by giving enough of oxygen to RW, who was in the political “death” bed, few months back. Now he gets plenty of glucose to his sprints by recent actions of MR.
Kumar R to hold rallies in Vanni or Colombo make no difference, you will only see a van load of people. Like to see whether his buddies Dilan Perera, Rajitha Senarathna and others where would they be

Very interesting and hilarious to read the comments and certain deductions made by co forum members. Laughter is the best medicine they say.
By the way being anti war is some thing and making only one party responsible is another thing. If one is truly against war then the pressure must be brought into all sides. Besides defeating terrorism is a necessary evil however unpleasant it may be. Tamil terrorist must be defeated if there is going to be any peace in this country. Those anti war heroes must get the tamil terrorists and their active and passive supporters to stop funding terror group and force them to come to terms with reality. Never forget the fact that it is the tamil terrorists who walked out of TALKS all the time in the past. It is they who went for discussions and refused to talk. If some people have a short memory or decide to forget the unpleasant incidents that are not in their favour, so be it. But it still will not change the hard facts. If one wants to express their views on war they have the freedom to so in the same way others have a right to put their viewpoint on the credibility of those who shout only to one party.
