This could have been averted if Rasaih had informed the SLN navy thru the LTTE liaison Officer for UN and NGO affairs that a group of LTTE personnel were coming for an observation tour of the harbour

Har. You are right. This stupid SLN cannot even identify leasure boats enjoying the sea. See what they have done in Dondra. SLN unneceaarily distroyed a ship carring fire crackers for the sinhala and hindu new year. Very unfair NO

This is what always happens in the south - govt forces are over-reacting. LTTE boys never do anything to disrupt the CFA. This could well be a USO ( Unidentified Sailing Object ) which could have included strange types of organisms that could burst when shot at. The GOSL has said it was unidentified, so it must be a USO

Everybody condemns this irresponsible behaviour of the LTTE that endangered the lives of suicide cadres onboard the ship by failing to follow the diplomatic procedures when you smuggle weapons, explosives, and drugs. Take it easy Irasiah. These things happen. By the way, how is your Ganja chena? Man, you have to take more care of yourself. You seem to be too addicted.

I am looking forward for the day when TLA stops publishing AP news reports. I am sick and tired of reading over and over again the following statement by AP in every report concerning Sri Lankan crisis with LTTE.
"The Tigers have fought since 1983 for a separate homeland for Sri Lanka - 's minority ethnic Tamils, following decades of discrimination by the majority Sinhalese. The war left about 65,000 people dead. "

This story isn't AP. I also believe you are quoting innacurately. After numerous Sinhala protests they stuck in an allegedly somewhere.

I have a lot of questions there. Was LTTE established in 1983? Are all the 65,000 Tamils? Since the CFA more lives are lost.
Shouldn't that number change? Like 70,000 perhaps?

mawrata,
Share your sentiments on AP's slanted, cut & paste journalism.
But , it is good that TLA has them. This way, we can stay informed of what treachery m/s mallawarachchi, francis and ganguly are up to.

Not to mention that they get paid for that cut & paste stuff.
