Exactly!!  

On the bunker rats part of the agreement, he will only try to kill MR's brothers and will leave MR out.

On President MR's part of the agreement he will order the soldiers to attack only the LTTE camps in east for the time being and give bunker rat 6 months time before starting to wipe him out from the North.

Only a genious like Ranil Wickramssinghe will understand the rational behind MR wanting to have a "secret agreement" with the LTTE. RW should consider hiring Sripathy as a chief advisor

A political solution is still favorable.

What political solution? There is no political problem in SL, only terrorist problem. It is being sorted out. Does any of the Tamils in Colombo or Jaffna coplain about political problem now? They love living among Sinhalese people. Mond you most Tamils in Colombo are from Jaffna.

So SUPPORT THE GOVT TO GET RID OF LTTE NOW.

Yes political solution is not with ILLITERATE ANIMALS LIKE LTTE TERRORIST.
There are sensible humans in north and east, we can talk to them. First dangerous animals should be killed then we can make  a peaceful enviornment to develop the relationship and develop the country.

Contrary to the belief of the many contributors here, the Government is not interested in attacking Vanni or liberating the East or even defeating the Tigers. The Government is engaged in the massive business of procurement of arms and it will keep it going as long as possible so that all those courently in power can amass their millions and retire abroad. The Singhlese are being taken for a ride as  much as the tamils. I can only hope that the Norwegians will begin to playa stronger role and start thinking in terms of a divided Sri Lanka and help to protect the innocent Tamils. The two states idea is a viable proposition and if I were leading the Tamils I would start building a wall across the country in preparaation of an independned modern civilized country in the image of the Europeans and shut the present Government from destrpying a beautiful country and disgracing the Sri Lankns. At some future date the leadership of the Singhalese may chnage then hopefully the people can get togethter ina robust federal sri lanka. At the momet they are mired in a snake pit of false monks and communalists intent on killing.

Lanka ought to advise the Brits and Yanks on how to persuade the populace to believe what they see on TV. The cynic in me suggests they should get the contract signed before the beginning of 2008 though.

I do watch TV and every thing. This is my gut feeling . I am a proper Srilankan,(may be sinhal,tamil,muslim or burger )You may be a foriegn person-by your name.Who knows!. If you are not Srilankan please keep way and dont try to tell  Srilankans what to do just like b...Norwagians..If any body wants to advise western world do so freely.
