    COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) _ Sri Lankan soldiers intensified patrols in the volatile east on Wednesday to hunt down fleeing Tamil separatists, the military said, days after the army captured rebel bases and left dozens of guerrillas dead.

so all these " Engineers, Architects, Doctors, Sociologists, Psychologists" were waiting for vaharai to be captured?
why couldn't they have done some development in Jaffna?, it is under GOSL control for over 10 years now.

Whats wrong with Jaffna now?

Jaffna is developed and continued to be developed. The problem we have there is the Terrorist thugs don't want Jaffna Tamils to live in propsertiy. Just this week, the terrorist loosers tried to blow up a ship that brough food provisions to Jaffna.

Time had gone to engage with the terrorist supporters to reason out the actions. Time now is to act, i.e., destablise the terror group. Have to hunt down and kill the terrorist leaders, and give that fatal blow to the LTTE so they can't re-group and emerge again.

Sornam, Ram, Ramesh and other senior terrorists are still alive out there in the east (Bhanu ran away). Once these are finished, hunt will continue to the north to hunt down the rest.
