Torture chambers used by LTTE found: Defense Ministry
hindu, Mon Jan 15 23:52:11 EST 2007
Colombo, Jan. 16 (AP): Torture chambers allegedly used by Tamil Tigers to punish escaping rebels and informers, including women fighters, have been found at guerrilla camps in eastern Sri Lanka, the Defense Ministry said.
The camps were uncovered by a Special Task Force, comprising of specially trained anti-terrorist commandoes who last week seized control of four rebel bases and seven smaller camps in the eastern Ampara district, the Media Center for National Security said in a report posted on its Web site late Monday.
At one of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam camps ``torture chambers and lockups were established to torture escapees and informers including women cadres,'' it said.

I agree, however two wrongs don't make one right. We need to go after the bad guys on both sides.
Let's give LTTE a priority in this case. System will take care of the rest later.

Why not show the torture chambers to SLMM? Ask UN help to arrest VP and treat him the same way as they treated Saddam Husein. Is there a difference between the two? or the tortures given by VP are more humane? or Is there a different law for countries where US is involved?

Just a general question for all the LTTE supporters...
the US, UK, Australia, India, Pakistan, Canada and other countries, plus the UN, have all labelled LTTE as a terrorist organisation... but still believe it's a freedom fighters group...
you think that all these countries are stupid enough to be "tricked" by GoSL lies...??? obviosuly not, they have done their own investigations and have come up with that the LTTE is a terrorist group... and even if you win and get the land you want, then the international community won't accept you anyways... like I don't get what you all are thinking here...
I don't get why you people still believe the lies told by the LTTE... eg. they say they didn't kill Rajiv for 15 years and then recently come up with that they did... like seriously... THE ONLY PEOPLE THE LTTE IS LYING TO, ARE THEIR OWN SUPPORTORS... I know you don't like to hear this, but just think about it...
you guys seem to have an excuse for every error the LTTE end up doing... a common one is "the GoSL did it"... like seriously... rest of the world doesn't believe that, so why do you guys...
The LTTE is doing more harm to the Tamil race than any good... the quicker you supporters understand that, the better it is for the tamils...

FYI: Michael is not related to me or I don't really know who he is.
Amazingly we seem to be connected when it comes to LTTE

 FYI hardX
Dear hardX,
I remember vaguely your summing up all the posts by all the members in one of your posts in December.
It spoke of all of us agreeing on something. You sounded a bit like a GOSL appointed Competent Authority in that.
Can you please give me a link to that post?

Hello KKK
If you say we agreed on something and if I don’t remember it, perhaps it is not an indication of our degree of agreement
Sorry, I may need more clues on what you are looking for to excite more cells to see whether I can help.
“You sounded a bit like a GOSL appointed Competent Authority in that. “
I am disappointed that I only sound like a ‘bit’. My boss will be disappointed on my performance since I am on the GOVT payroll and I get 10% of all contracts I approve regardless what they do.
