    COLOMBO, Sri Lanka _ A bomb on a Sri Lanka passenger bus killed at least 15 people and wounded dozens more Saturday, officials said, blaming Tamil Tiger rebels.

The blast, which police suspect was triggered by a female suicide bomber, was the country's second bus bombing in as many days _ a sign of escalation of the .. ethnic conflict ravaging the tropical island nation off southern India.

When the air force bombers inadvertantly caused death to innocents who were used as LTTE human shields the bishop of Mannar was quick to call it a "crime against humanity".

When the tigers deliberately target civilians and "successfully" muder 20+ civilians and injure scores more, he's silent. Hasn't the news reached the church yet???

True enough a terror loving bishop tried foul to blame the govt. for his sun goad's (deliberate) crime, but the government should take rsponsibility for the LTTE terror on civilians.

Can anyone site any SERIAL terror attacks on civilians when the paramilitaries were active?

The Bishop is the only witness for that killing by SLAF. Thats why he raised his voice. Don't compare with your helaurumaya monks.
Did you or any of your brothers see any LTTE person in the bus ? or droping the bomb on the bus ? If you cant believe the Bishop, Please tell your Hon Rajapaksha to allow independent foreign reporters (Please Not sinhalese reporters) to work North & East. They will tell the truth. Why are you not allowing them ? did anyone asked your president ? this could be one of the mahinda chindana !!
Even though you will not accept what foreign reporters saying. I am sure that someone will say that LTTE bought a new house in Norway for them.

There will be a huge peace rally organized by Kumar Rupasinge at Hyde Park to protest against bus bombings.  Sri Lankan Muslims have cancelled their pro-Saddam rally to support this.  please attend.

As these inhuman events are unfolded by the terrorist against the sinhalese it is quite evident that given an elam we will be having to live with an enemy forever like india and pakistan, therefore military solution is now inevitable, and its about time to go and start hunting for the leaders who are in jungles, but its a shame that SLA is taking such a long time to clear the north and east, anyhow it will eventually boil down to what have the army eventually acheived, whether its actually ground gaining or just show for the public, anyhow at the end if they are still having the same weapons , and infrastructure then we have not acheived anything, simple as that.

So long as we remain divided on the issue of military solution to bring them to their knees terrorist will gain upper hand at certain times, their have to be severe punishment for treason and betrayal of the country.

Sri Lankan nation got better political leadership back after the LTTE terrorists honeymoon period under feeble selfish Ranil (Political clown) and selfish Chandrika (arrogant witch)
Government is effectively countering the brutality of fascist terrorism.
LTTE lost ground in Sampoor (debacle over water), chased away from (Muslim majority) Muttur.
Threat on Trincomalee city has been controlled effectively.
Liberation of innocent people in Vakarei who were under iron fist of LTTE terrorists is near a victory.
The Tamil people in Vakarei (Last terrorist held territory in Western province) has been coming to the Sri Lankan government forces held areas in search of liberation from terrorism.

All these victories so far were at some cost;

Cost of our brave soldiers in the battle field
Cost of lives of innocents people in border villages (Somapura,Kabithigollawa etc)
But Our soldiers never looked back , nor the Sinhalese and Muslim people in border villages. That’s why we are winning...

Now it’s the time we in the south has to act intellectually and bravely to hold the flag of the victory that our brave soldiers in the battle field and people in the north and east has been holding tightly so far….

Now LTTE has tried terrorizing the people in the south.
Either we can be a part of the vicious cycle of terrorism by being terrorise or we can play our part in breaking this vicious cycle and defeating it.

Our commitments now:
• Now the Terrorist hired NGOs and bankrupt political henchmen will come forward to organize peace (piece) rallies, meditations, and conferences etc to convert the terror into political gains (White collar terrorism). We have to defeat those traitors in the south by all means!!!
• No ethnick back clashes, its terrorism and not the tamils behind these dirty acts.
• Lets support our professional troops to defeat terrorism.
• Lets be extra vigilant. If all of us are vigilant of out neighbour hood (home, office or public places) at leat four pairs of eyes will be focused on each terrorist. We should be able to catch those terrorists on the spot.
• Lets force government to uproot terrorism (no more mere counter attackings) and bring the war back to the garden of Piribaharan, Kilinocchi.

Lets see what was the responce of Mr Tony Blair on London Bomb attack;

The point being made is this LTTE representative in robes, distort facts and issue statments huwinking the rest of the world. The motive behind his statment is not to help the civilians who were affected, but to save the LTTE from being wiped out from the east, by drawing IC to put preassure on the govenment.

However like you, I do agree, the government should accept responsibility when innocents are killed in air raids. Bishop of Mannar and similar LTTE representatives will have no place, if the govenrnment accepts responsibility when things go wrong.

Where are you, man???? Can't you see the cause and effect clearly? This is retaliation for the DAILY killings in the Nort- East by the SL forces. Tamils are being abducted, starved, killed and raped NEAR DAILY. Couple of bombs now in the vicinity of Colombo is raising hairs with you types eh. Imagine then what the TAmils have been going thru for the past 30 years. And that is probably the message behind the boms - to raise awareness among the blind Southern population about what the Tamils are going thru at the hands of the SL forces.

My freind I agree that the innocent tamils in the north/east (that doesn't inlcude bootlicker expatirates like you, who live a cushy life in europe) are going thru immense hardships. So does many others belonging to ALL races. How long do you need to realise that its a result of terrorism? Or is it that you already know it, but would like the situationt to prolong inorder to ensure that you can continue the luxary life you are having right now? How much did you contribute from your pay check this month to the terrorists to keep things nice and rosy for you??

Dear Motherland,

Now we all know that Prabhakarana orchestrated the 1983 July riots to kill Tamils through Sinhalese to establish his terror organization. Now we all know that he even funded people to kill Tamils and had a well equipped camera crew in colombo in place to record all what he planned, and the way he wants it. Now we all know that whenever, he is beaten to the last bunker, he still beleives in the 1983 tactics. Through this bus bombs, all what he wants is to get Sinhalese people in the South to kill Tamils. That is why he chose a bus bound to deep South. This profound genius who has never gone beyond Tamil Nadu does not know that those dirty old tactics do not work any more. Sinhalese got caught once and they will never repeat it.

And the new Bishop of Mannar will soon build a house in London or Paris with the big Donation from Prabha to talk against "crimes against humanity". He should first know that humanity goes beyond Tamil racisim and taking for money.
