Re: Sri Lankan air force says it bombs Tamil Tiger base; re
Quote:An air force spokesman, Grp. Cap. Ajantha Silva, told a news conference that the planes targeted a base of the Sea Tigers, the naval wing of the separatist Tamil Tiger rebels.
``We are very sure about the target, that it was a Sea Tiger base, in fact the area's main Sea Tiger base,'' Silva said.
``Whenever we attack their camps and bases they come up this type of story,'' Silva said of the rebel claim that the victims were civilians and not Sea Tiger members.
Absolutely Mr.de Silva.
This is the best opportunity to release the pictures of the air attack to the media so that we could prove to the whole world that kids less that 10 years old have been used by the LTTE. Even the LTTE admitted that at least three kids under 7 were kille, and a number of them were seriously injured.
Can you help us with the pictures?

Tamilnet always publishes news about air rades which not been carried out. Last week they said that a Kovil had been demolished by air rades.Where are the photos?. Can we see it. Todays air attack killed 'civilians'. Yes SLAF destried Tiger sea camps. Can we see the photos of destruction and dead bodies. In the past Tamilnet produced these form of evidence to prove. Can Tamilnet do the same thgis time?
By the way any body (eg Red Cross, clergy men, Kofi Annan etc) can give statements to support LTTE. Otherwise these people cant live in the North. No wonder SLMM has left North. and Eventuialy they will be pushed to Norway.
What the LTTE wants now-SYMPATHY. LTTE alway say 'we will start full scale WAR. Fortunately Sinhala traitors (army majors and captainns!)are in now remanded and waiting to be beheaded.
All tamils, except few are waitng to go back to North and East once terrorism ben wiped out!.

Migida you are too intelligent to reply.
When will this carnage end? How many more kids will have to have their legs amputated? Why do we treat these people like they are from another planet? Aren't they are our own sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and parents. Are we heading for a fight to the finish in 2007?
The Air farce is smart indeed. The LTTE has to sit and wait while the GOSL goes about knocking themselves out of the equation.
Where is the International community and it's doctrine of " right to protect ".
Kiyala wedak naha Gonas.

You have forgotton about Kabethigollewa massacre (Children, mothers etc 68people perished), recently 4 people killed in Ampara by LTTE. You are talking high about Air rades. These things happens because of LTTE terrorism. Did you think about that while LTTE leaders' children having lavish life in western countries innocent tamil child soliders been killed!. Is that reasonable , Mr Visvajith?. Do not show the crocadile tears. You mention that 'Gona'!. Please go infront of mirrer then you can identify your selvs!. Thank you Sir.

Please do not justify the killings and massacre of LTTE everytime the GoSL kills innocent tamil people. There is no doubt that these (Kabethigollewa massacre) killing by LTTE and the whole world knows. But killing innocent people by a Govenment is absolutely against all the humanity and it is time to win the heart of the tamils not LTTE.

Quote:The rebels have been fighting for an independent homeland in the north and east for the country's 3.1 million ethnic Tamils, who have suffered decades of discrimination by the majority Sinhalese.
Is this true ... ? LankaAcademic is shopping for LTTE by publishing the stupid views of others. These type of idiotic views harm the image of the Sinhalese who always wanted to live in peace unlike LTTE.
It is the politicians who did the damage. Even the Tamils( not all but politicians) they never wanted to live peacefully they always agaist Sinhalese(that is politis in Sri Lanka). How come most of the Tamils live together with Sinhalese in the most of the country even if they can remeber of the black July which started by LTTE and endded up in an ethnic conflict.

Well-said Rosujith. One killing is too many. The LTTE is a fascist terrorist organization; the GOSL is a democratically elected Govt. The GOSL has a greater responsibility to protect all it's citizens.
Migida, your comments are gems. Cheers.

 Great job GOSL
So far balance sheet was correct; But now GOSL increased few counts so we we need to wait for other counts...then UN, US, UK and India will send statement; This is kind of circle ; wait and see

The Tamils who live in the south are either traitors or non tamilians. They have been de-tamilified. You should keep up with tamilnet!

So as UN because UN has acknowledged the killing civilians including children by the Sri Lanka Air Force.
The Defence officials said that the target was accurately analysed by the military experts and rejected killing of civilians including children.....What a truthful statement. Please visit http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/6224121.stm
