Post More politics than reality....
Presidential Election was held in the North and East just three months ago. However when it comes to local government elections it has been postponed.

Is it becasue LTTE can make a call on how people should vote on these elections and perhaps they will control majority of the local councils in the North and East.

If you mean by that force people to vote the way they want by intimidation and ballot-stuffing yes. that's precisely the reason they were cancelled.

However the Election Commissioner didn't cancel the votes after Presidential election in the North and East. That means all is well in the North and East during Presidential eleciton and no ballot stuffing or intimidation.

Yes.. and the Tamilians of the NE are truly happy and they have realised their aspirations, have nothing to grumble about vis-a-vis the GOSL and Sinhalas and the rest of the country  and this shameful charade that the LTTE is conducting "in the name of the Tamilian People" is just so much fluff...

nice one Smile

At least you have admitted that Tamilians have no inconvenient democratic and self-determining actions such as "elections" to worry about or look forward to in their future Lotus-Land.

I guess it's easy enough to do so from where you have taken yourself off to and from the democratic safety of which you grandly hold forth and proclaim that the SL Tamilians left behind have no use for elections or democracy.

Good for you ! No one, least of all the diaspora Tamilians, give a hoot about the SL Tamilians left behind anyway. In the meantime, I urge you to continue your contributions to The Cause. It will seal the fate of the SL Tamilians once and for all.

I agree that there are two administrations in Sri lanka. One a terrorcracy and the other a pseudo democracy. I wonder why the terrorcracy is not accepted ? Why they do not attempt to take steps within the administration to convert it to a visible struggle for liberation as what has repeatedly happened in history. My humble opinion is that the administration cannot stand or extended without terror. Wide reluctance to accept the existence of this administration is due to ethical reasons.
