Very true. MR should have shown his real identity to the country before the election.

His real identity is becoming clear now. As far as the peace process is concerned, he is following on the footsteps of CBK and Ranil.

For the sake of future generations, let us hope that a majority of Sri Lankans will accept his true identity.

Agreed. Exactly why I say that the headline is very true. Show your true identity before asking for the vote.

Well.... well.....
It seems that LTTE . do not like MR's true identity..

OR...
They do not like election commissioners decisions...which prevented LTTE ballot stuffing during last election by not setting up polling booths inside LTTE occupied area. Amputing body parts of the only voter is a different story. Perhaps LTTE terorists follow their own code of Shariat law?

Any person, even with a tiniest brain should welcome this decision of EC to reduce voting frauds...

Also, all ballot boxes should be made of sturdy transparent plastic with lockable/sealable lids to prevent 'ballot stuffing'. This is so, in some countries. Not only the little finger's tip, but the whole palm should be smeared with indelible ink just before voting.
But how are tsunami and conflict refugees who have lost all papers & identity documents going to establish identities to vote? This, the commissioner is not saying! !
Also, the latest Voter Lists should be used - not the previous one - as requested by the TNA.
