Sri Lankan poultry farmers campaign to convince consumers to
Associated Press, Fri Mar 10 08:58:56 EST 2006
COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) _ Sri Lankan poultry farmers are putting up posters and airing radio and television programs to persuade reluctant consumers to eat chicken as sales slide amid fears of bird flu, an official said. Chicken sales in Sri Lanka have dropped by 20 percent since February when bird flu was reported from neighboring India, forcing hundreds of thousands of birds to be slaughtered.

There were rumors that hormones in Chicken make children reach puberty early. Therefore the rumors of bird flue could put humans back into the normal evolution cycle.
God bless pigs

Both cows and poultry get fattening hormones.
It may be possible, human obesity in developed countries, mostly north america, is related to those hormones.
It is better mad cow disease and this thing came,so these animals get a break.

Wonder what happend to those Animal rights action groups.
Basically poultry farmers are asking to eat the bird flesh. That means killing the birds.
Itsnt it funny, to safe guard the families of the farmes, they encourage people to kill the brids for their consumption.
This is true for all non-veg areas including fish.
Perhaps god is punishing the man kind for excessive usage of animal consumption as well as genetically modifications. perhaps bird flue, foot & mouth, etc.. are sweeping world wide.

Actually a lot, if not most of the chickens produced in Sri Lanka are free range, reared in people's back yards. They may be tough as hell (I always refer to local chicken as 'bubble gum chicken'), and a possible vector of bird flu, but are generally free of hormones and salmonella.

Obesity is also linked to trans fatty acids.

You obviously missed the fine print: Manufacturer is not responsible if the product is used for non-intended purposes.
