    COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) _ Suspected Tamil Tiger rebels abducted a Tamil man from his home in northern Sri Lanka, the military said Thursday, as authorities investigated whether the victim is linked to groups that oppose the guerillas.

Four suspected rebels snatched A. Dineshswaram, 23, from his home in Muttur last week, said military spokesman Brig. Sudhir Samarasinghe, adding that his disappearance was only reported by his father Wednesday. Muttur is about 230 kilometers (140 miles) northeast of the capital, Colombo.

spokesman of militrary is sensitive job. Shouldnt confuse by making careless ststements.[b]Muttur is not in the North but in the East.

I am not sure this is a mistake of military spoksman or TLA..

There were problem like this earlier too.
Muttur town is under SLA controlled. Please don't meke assumptions in the news articles if you do not know the real story. This behaviour will not help you to bring peace.
There was a meeting held between LTTE and muslim leaders in January regarding existance of an armed group in that area

If they exccuted him, that would be a different case.

Here, they abducted an adult for the "tamil struggle". He will become a fighting cader. If he is married wife can, probably, wait until the next life.
