So what's new about this?

These countries prosper by selling arms to third class terrorists to propagate conflicts elsewhere to keep the black man down.

Dear Duke

as a swiss taxpayer let me tell you that our  government covered all the costs of the talks: security, food, lodging, whatever. For both delegations and the GOSL was so kind to send the health minister. Well, not much work for him at home: no Aids, no birthflu, no malnutrition etc.

So what is the big deal of sponsering a get-together of the LTTE Delegation with their supporters? Where did the government delegation go?

Government of Swiss was neutral in every manner. Thet allowed supporter of GoSL to demonstrate against the LTTE negotiations. Hard line Tamils who wanted to demonstrate for "No talks, Only Elam!" didn't get permission. But, when the Tamils organized a cutural meeting - Govt. of Swiss gave the permission.
All people of Srilanka should thank the govts of Switzerland and Norway for this round of tlaks that has at least postponed a war between the two parties.
