down for a second and final day of talks a day after a shaky start as
foreign governments piled up pressure on the parties to be flexible.
"We urge parties to approach the opportunity with an open and flexible
attitude,"  the quartet known as "Co-Chairs" in a statement issued in
Washington.The co-chairs are made up of  Japan, the United States,  the European
Union and Norway, key financial backers of Sri lanka who have played a
key role in promoting a permanent peace in Sri Lanka since the Feb.

If the SLG wants war to settle the 50+ year old problem so be it
done with it and get over. This should be for the tamils too. By now tamils should know the truth.
Nothing will be given (look at ptoms and karuna factor). so snatch it

The Govt  has done a commendable Job .
It is very important to note  
1)regarding the issue of Karuna(TMVP) the Ltte is trying set a precedence that  when ever a formidable force is going to challenge Ltte, it is going to be the responsibility of the govt to protect ltte from those forces, for ltte to continue their atrocities unopposed and no one in the future will  challenge ltte due to the circumstances the new group has to fight the Govt and the terrorist backed by Norway and Briton openly.

2) Karuna group(TMVP) has already declared unilateral ceasefire. so  they are no longer a problem as long as Ltte do not mess with TMVP. The insistence imply that LTTE is intented to mess with TMVP but afraid the  defeat and loses
It is  very important to remember that TMVP is not a terrorist organization by SL or international designation but Ltte is one.

3) also Bala uncle told an excuse that UK and USA also have recruited the underage to the forces  its true but uncle should know we are not British and the recruits by Ltte are not British either, like himself. most of all he should know we are Sri Lankans we cannot be force to  follow Queen's or Toney's Examples we  lready got the freedom, at least on the paper, from UK  some time back , We only agree to follow international law while preserving our own identity.
But Uncle Bala  to talk during the  next peace talk I give another justification of Ltte atrocities ,   UK and USA invaded Iraq because they didn't like the ruling of Sadam there for invaded Iraq under the pretense of WMD, like wise Prabha &co do not like the Democratic rights of any one so Ltte  fights to change to authoritarian rule under the pretense of freedom fight.

1. Do you think you have to fight LTTE to solve the problem? If not why do you need karuna. If you think so, why do you go to talk and drag waste time? Finish it off. You can't do anything but talk like this.

2. Under which rule of SL govt. karuna gorup is falling? third party with arms and not fighting for a community. Is underworld group allowed in SL law?
Or are they Hamas/PLA?
3. If you talk about child solider problem you should understand the reality first.
    a) first of all SL is well famous for child-sex in down south. it is surprisingly well known business in MR and JVP support areas. Why don't you consider that first.
    b) You should know if a student is joined to LTTE, LTTE can't send them back home where the SLA is controlling. He will be disappear or will be killed by SLA. This is reality. It can be proved. Those kids are in hope houses not in LTTE camps. (SLA - You have to go and see their behaviour in North-East. don't believe just the stories).
    c)  2000 children are joined with karuna and reported missing. This case is filed against LTTE. But those kids are with karuna not with LTTE.
    d) JVP killed familes of army in 1987. How can they talk about the child soldier now? Further GoSL bombed and distroyed schools (even my school Jaffan Central got 70% building damage in 1990s). Killed students in mass during schooling. Why/who are they care about Tamil children now?
    e) this ethnic problem got worsen when university admission of tamil students have been denied when they have enough marks. Still Jaffna is one of the war effected area and having 2nd highest cutoff marks in SL. What is the option the tamil students have?

Co-Chirs have to rethink about their position on GoSL and need to find a way to solve the problem or else let tamils and LTTE to find their own way.

 the real answer is talking the same language the Ltte can speak and understand

when they cannot tolerate the torture in the name of freedom  and most of them while studying how do they end up in the battle field and dead when ever there is a skirmish.

society has an obligation to direct its future generation, violence in the mind of a child
make the child to accept violence as social norm and it is going on for more than 25 years .
we call them children because they still need guidance from the parents and the society. any body can simply remember the age they wanted to have sex and when they really had one.  these thoughts are animal instincts to be  modified according to the culture and social norms .so you cannot recruit a volunteer child soldier without the parents' and the society's acceptance. I hope you get the point.

C) you have a very concrete evidence that's all we need ,take it to the SLMM and UN and a copy to Ms.Rhathika Coomarasuwamy She is very nasty about this. I don't care it is karuna,  prabha, srilankan Govt or even Lord Krishna ( Netti kannai kaatinum Kuttum kuttamae)

D) Lets say what you said is right. what is that to do with the wrong doing of Ltte.
    you inadvertently and indirectly admitting the wrong doing of Ltte and only  unhappy about that another wrong doer is pointing out it, sounds like.
Do you know central college principal , St john college principal, and Medical college professor Thiranagama (a Tamil )are all dead, Killed .

E) university admission: do you know What happen to the tamils from Baticaloe ,Trinco ,Vanni ,Manar etc and tamils and Sinhalese in Colombo and Kandy
before and after the Standardization .
are you talking the tamil Eelam for Jaffna Tamils only?
What is your suggestion for undeserved areas in the north and east?

I hope the ultimate goal of the LTTE, "The Great Tamil State" and VP's extradition order will come to light during talks. If both parties genuinely want to solve the problem, they should not hide the the problems which they think have no answers. In this forum I see many LTTE followers but never received an answer to what GOSL should do if India request to extradite VP.
I agree that tamils have problems because of their ethnicity. But, most of the problems now they are facing are a results of LTTE continue to stay in war.  Look at the situation for muslims even in so called model democracies like US, UK, Australia.  Muslims are considered seoperate.  What these guys use - term - "National Security" They indirectly say that they sacrifice democracy, free speach or any thing for their national secuirity.  But, this is same thing China, Cuba, Syria, Iran etc did but can you remember how much US. UK etc worried about human rights, democracy, free speach etc when other are in violation.
