The LTTE is taking a position to counter the argument that Karuna is an internal problem of the LTTE and has to be resoloved by the LTTE. It is thus arguing that the GOSL should rather than provide logistical support for the attacks by the Karuna group, hand them over to the "organisation who is responsible for reloving this". Obvioulsy the better approach is for GOSL to acknowledge its use of this group and curtail their activities rather than hand them to the LTTE. The GOSL needs to take the responsibility and deal with it as a responsible govt, or should it not?

He can't expect the GOSL to handover Karuna. But if at all he can tell the GOSL " Look here!! The naked truth is the Karuna & his allias are accomated and provided logistics support by GOSL in order to create pandemonium in N&E. We are not going to tolerate this any more". This statement look more appropriate  

SLMM has concluded that any connection between GOSL and Karura cannot be traced.  If the LTTE continue to claim so, they so give credible evidence.  However, VP and Pottu have been convicted by India for Jajiv's assasination. Their names are in ITERPOL's list. Therefore, India can request GOSL to handover those guilts with enough credible proof.  Also, the extradition is an official obligation. Even if GOSL and Karuna work together, handing him and his group to LTTE is noty an obligation.  If Karuan has links with India, is LTTE dare to ask India to hand over them? In return, GOSL should ask LTTE to hand over LTTE suspected plotters including VP, Pottu, in connection with killing of LK, RP, Neelan, Amir, and any more. It seems however, that Karuna has become one of the graetest threat to LTTE in many ways. Karuna's spyes may have penetrated the LTTE network. Why don't they ask to hand over, Devanada, Sangari, PLOTE memebrs etc? Because, they pause a breat threat to LTTE. Karuna appears to be much more strongers than even GOSL think.

This is absurd!  LTTE openly boasting if the Geneva talks fails they are going to war!  Now they are asking the GOSL to eliminate the splinter group.  If LTTE so powerful why can't they do the job?

What if Karuna asked the govt.    to arrest and try Pottuu Amman and Soorya Deva   for crimes against Tamils  ?
