    The LTTE has released some 28 children, several of whom were handed
back to their parents while another group consisting of nearly 20 had
been given over to the Education and the Skills Development Centre
(ESDC), the LTTE peace Secretariat announced today.

These children were released through the ICRC, UNICEF and or the
NorhtEast Secretariat on Human Rights (NESOHR). "Eight of them were
handed over to their parents directly. Twenty under-age youths who do
not want to return to their home have been sent to the ESDC," the
Secretariat said.

LTTE hypocrisy:

The war is necessary to free Tamils from Sinhalese discrimination.
Tamils living with Sinhalese are much better off with Tamils with LTTE.

Finally some good news from Sri Lanka! 28 children released is a start, but there are still several thousand children in the LTTE. We have read the brutal stories about how these children has been kidnapped and abused. Relatives that has protested has had their houses torched or murdered by the LTTE..

When we know these children is used as cannon fodder in war and sex toys for the LTTE commanders in peace time, it is high time more children are released.

Tamil children do not want  to be forcibly recruited by LTTE and also should not be terrorized and kiilled by SL armed forces and police in the name of fighting LTTE.
If LTTE has that many children and depends on children then all GOSL military's humiliating camp/weapon losses to LTTE during the last war were handiwork of kids.

LTTE has set up many childern hope houses which has thousends of those childern are getting schooling and extra facilities (like music, drama, dancing, computr etc. skills). The stories like Phoenix are always stories.
LTTE is grow up because of gosl only (and JVP/JHU -Phoenix mentality-do a lot to help to them ).

Is this sex toys accussation based on any credible evidence? or just hatred spewed in this form against LTTE?  If you shoot from the hips like many other members, you also lose the credibility for other perhaps factual and credible points!
