    Sri Lanka's Tamil Tigers said they will not discuss political solution to the island's ethnic conflict during the upcoming talks with Sri Lankan government in Geneva.

The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) said Tuesday the two-day talks starting on February 22 in Geneva, Switzerland, would be exclusively to discuss ways of strengthening the truce that went into effect from February 23, 2002, but remains to be fully implemented by both sides.

"The LTTE is not prepared to discuss modifications to the cease-fire or to push the cease-fire aside and waste time talking about a political solution," the Tigers said in an editorial in their official organ 'Vuduthalaippulikal'.

does this mean talking is waste of time and money?  

the answer is absolutely not the tigers are incrementally exposed and marginalized but the business aspect of the tiger Inc is very strong and their marketing techniques are still formidable  
(on the other hand there are too many stupids who takes too long to understand the reality)
therefore do what Romans do. ( when you are in Rome you always better do what Romans do.) do the things the stupids do until they understand and it is not bad at all
it may be even good .
longer it drag on more the Tamils will leave the country.
those who left  the country are losing their identity with every generation
therefore no desire to return to their " traditional home land "

longer this mess drag on worse the Traditional home land  become messed up and even any decent animals wouldn't like to live there .

so I don't think it is waste of time or money
but can try to save a little bit more always  find a place like closer places to fly and cheaper food to eat but expensive brothels to visits( They will lose the money faster than the Govt)

Naturally, tigers are scared to talk about a political solution, because that ends the fake liberation struggle of Praba and Anton and begins the construction phase that they have never thought of or have the strength to live with. But if this drags too much, as you said a lot of brilliant Tamils will leave the country and they will lose their identity in some other country. We don't want to see that. We need them here and we want them to understand that they have the courage and strength to live with diversity, and that their promised pure land (racist land) should never come. Those who have left the country have bought one-way tickets. Their kids will never want to be a part of the Tiger land. All what Praba and Anton want is to live like kings on other people's money. That they can do only if a tension prevails between their self proclaimed "we" and "them". They will continue to kill their oponents and reduce the Tamil population to a mere bunch of "Yes Sirs" with no originality in thought. They will also buy few professors to say that that is right. The Tamilnet publishes such a rediculous statements from paid professors who knows nothing about Sri Lanka. Have a look at that stupid website from time to time.
