COLOMBO (AFP) – Sri Lanka's top Buddhist monks called off a special gathering this week because of government pressure, a spokesman said Friday, while the opposition said bomb threats had been involved.

Wohaaa!! Nice going Mahinda.. Threatning to bomb the Dalada Maligawa takes the cake.. I bet he got lessons from the Minsiter for National Integration and the Chief Minister for the Eastern Province.. They did the first run a while back.. Of course this is what Ranil says.. If he lied lock him up too.. Don't forget, all true and good is UNP/RW/SF., all ugly, corrupt and bad is Rajapakse/UFPA etc al. I am waiting for RW to make good on his promise to expose the "Sangha Threateners" as he promised today - though I won't hold my breath for that to materialise |
