see how the govt is violating the rights of its citizens by arresting them with absolutely no evidence that can be presented to courts. Today even the son-in-law's mother has been released on bail less than 24 hrs after arrest. I am beginning to think that we have been sold of a coup/conspiracy that never existed.

Lucky guys.. They got their due process... Kind of neat since the CID throws them in Jail.. and then .. Ooops we don't have evidence.. so out they
go..

Due Process comes in different forms for different people in SL..

That JVP reporter guy got his "due process" by express order from Dr.Rajapakse via Victor Ivan.. Lucky busted.. He at least had Ivan  to bat for him.

That other guy from Uthyan,  Vithyatharan had to rot in jail for 3 months.. the CID dropped the case again.. same story.. no evidence.. So out he goes.. by order of the judges..Really lucky guy.. After all this is a Tamil guy.. who cares no?? A few thousand dead here.. a few thousand maimed there..  White flag or not.. "war secrets" and all that secrety  stuff Smile

The Mahanyakes were about to get their "Due Process"..  One lecture from "It's ok to have a small Drink" Athuraleye thero and out goes the big
Sangha Bajaw.. These monks despite their hurry to attain Nirvana knows when to slow down that trip!! The JHU storm troopers of Champaka
are no choir boys.. Just ask Prof.Indraratna or SL Gunasekara..

Anyone wanna bet what type of "Due Process" that other guy from Lanka-e-News got?? I bet Dr.Rajapakse will come and say the guy had gone to
the Middle East...

Lovely land this place we call home.... never a dull day..

Namdev, you echo my views eloquently, but I would leave out the part about the Sangha. All in all, save for the current rotten eggs, monks are very respectable.
