What I see is some don't want a healthy discussion.Somewhat irrational
statements made on these threads too. What is amazing is that these very
same people talk of a great democracy we have.

Aiyoo....again you are confused. We didn't say Sri Lanak has a great democracy, we have some democracy with a long road ahead for a great democracy, road is full of blocks and obstacle, but objective is to get there without complaining.

Don't be such a downer all the time.  Wink

Post Great D.M.O. Crazy

I just heard under great democracy in UK, both Tory and Labour MPs paying back  thousands of pounds they claimed unlawfully.  ‘Great Democracy’ is a scarce commodity to find.

I do understand, for some Sri Lankan D.M.O. Crazy ran well when we have the peace deal with LTTE, When Norwegian peace monitors taking cease fire violations, when LTTE matchbox aircrafts were ready to fly,  When LTTE call all the shots, When LTTE smuggled military hardware at their will, when LTTE governed 1/3 of Sri Lanka.  Yes, then ours was a great democracy Idea

Please take a look at the subject line.

Attacks on journalists on the rise after elections.

As usual every thread  is somehow turned on to LTTE,diaspora and the bashing up of the Tamils starts.
Take a good look Amarakoon.
So is there a possibility of Reconciliation and letting the healing process start?

In all due respect to Dammik I apologise I  have to point this out.
Dammika says- We have an 'objective. "road is full of blocks and obstacles'

To traverse this road to what some think is the road to democracy WE
kick people whom we don't like out of our way so that only our voice will be heard and we continue on
this march.
Do we intimidate attack kidnap and murder without going through due process..
