I can imagine your frustration. When you don't hear what you like to hear you naturally drift away from the real world

 Time to move on
Sarath Fonseka must accept the election result unless he has proof of large scale rigging. In case he has such proof, he must take it to the courts, and then abide by the decision of the court.
If SF is interested, he has a big task ahead - giving political leadership to the opposition. That will give him time to grow up - politically. He is less than six months old in that respect.
At the presidential election, going by the basis that the result is a true reflection of the peoples' voting intention, SF has performed very well. No other person in SL would have even come close to 40% against a President during whose term, and due to his leadership, the LTTE was destroyed. The election result would have been still closer if, (i) there was more voter turn-out in the Tamil areas, and (ii) the malpractices that the Elections Commissioner refers to, did not occur (of course such malpractices are nothing new in SL). All that from a politician who is not even six months old - politically!
In just the same way that there is no alternative leader to MR on the government side, there is no opposition leader who can match SF in performance.
It is up to him to shoulder that responsibility. He must start by showing respect to the democracy which still survives in SL - however battered and bruised.

Democracy- your rights, reedom to voice your opinion,to be heard.
Well,If SF is sure that there is rigging and injustice has been done
in the process of a fair and free election then he has a duty by his supporters
to come forward and prove it in the higest court in sri lanka.
In such a process,Mahinda also can counter this by proving in the highest court of law
that the elcection was fair and free and he too has a duty to clear his name to prove to
his supporters that he is the man duly elected by recieving more votes than
his opponent.absolutely no rigging took place.
Instead of going forward.
what is not understood here is.
1.we heard before the election the EC pleading loud and clear for his life,to let him finish his job
retire in peace he is too old to be bullied and intimitated.
2.we hear now election.C was put under house arrest.
Now he gives another verdict. The old boy is definitly stressed out and crying for the
safety of his life.
3.It bothers many that heads are rloling with retirement thrown in or benefits taken away
shuffling of officers, top chairmen moved etc.
supporters on either side are getting riled up.would not help Sri Lanka to ty perfect
a battered and bruised democracy?.Citing other countries is not the way to go.

This ongoing cry of vote rigging only proves one thing. The only people who have not been living in real Sri Lanka were the opposition including SF!!
Any person with a brain of pea size would have realized all that jazz from the opposition toward the end of the election was lot of noise and some people who lived in Colombo cocoons bought into the idea that SF had a chance of winning, but if you had walked outside Colombo, anyone would have got the real picture. I said MR would win back in December and i told anyone who debated with me the possibility of SF win, that would not happen, if anything MR would with minimum 60% votes. Stop this madness and waste of time! SF needs to own up and be a man and accept his defeat like a man.

If SF believes he is right he has to file an election petition within 21 days in SC. 8 days have lapsed, 13 days to go. EC has already mentioned this.
Let’s keep it simple instead of confusing a simple issue.

Sadly very Unlikely! SF yesterday declared himself by himself as the President & quoted MR as the rouge President.
His learning curve in politics seems to be getting steeper.
