Barely an year ago, Ranil Wickremesinghe, his cronies and his senior party members such as Joseph Michael Perera made categorical statements that it was General Fonseka's special military intelligence teams that were responsible for this act and for the abuse suffered by Keith Noyahr. This sort of talk was very common amongst Ranil W's kitchen cabinet, at his home and amongst his friends. RW told some government people that the attack on Sirasa was also General Fonseka's doing.

So what changed from then to November? JVP influence? I would suspect everyone knew who did what, but because the war had to be won, no one did anything. SO who is throwing stones at whom now? Who knew what? Who did what? is it a case of thieves falling out and then accusing each other? I recall clear statements after KN was abucted and abused. General Fonseka basically alluded to people writing false statements and what can happen to them.
SO who dunnit] Are we an Mugabistan?
