Post Mud lorry released by DIG Vas Gunawardene
http://www.lankatruth.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4376:mud-lorry-released-by-dig-vas-gunawardene-video&catid=35:local&Itemid=50

i admit the source is not reliable but if it happens to be true then i have a feeling there is big campaign that is taking place behind the scenes that the general public is not aware of. Just like in 2005. This Vas Gunawardena seems to be no better than Mervin. And you can imagine what kind of power the Junior Naval officer Yositha is having, probably more than the navy commander navy.  solute the police officers at Kurunegala who stood up to thee people at great odds. Same type of incident happened in Pita Kotte last week when a lorry carrying mud posters overturned. It was subsequently given police protection and taken away by the thugs.

You can just imagine the state of affairs if given 6 more years! The opposition is behaving very naively to expect that Rajapakses will give up their castle without a fight. It took decadedes of blood, sweat and tears for MR to come up to this position and you think he will just give up without a trick or two?

Probably the Government propaganda, Sons planting it, Police (STF) doing it. Any more guesses?

What could we expect from a military man? A cleanup.

Does not matter who it is they need to apply the rule of law to everybody not just to the opposition. Remember that famous interview that the CID was going to conduct from SF's Son in law. Suddenly the guys at CID were too busy to investigate the great betrayal of the nation which the govt accused SF for. It does not matter who it is they should never use the law enforcement for political purposes. What worse is characters like yositha rajapakse or Vas Gunawardena interfering in the work of the few honorable men left in the police force.

SF should be given a chance to clean up this mess just as he transformed the army to a disciplined outfit. This mess has been created by all political parties and only person who has even a slim chance of doing it is someone who has no political party interest or legacy to continue. Yes he may fail and in 6 years we can throw him out too. Fair enough!

He would probably start cleaning up the language (substituted with “kalawedda” “Paharaya” “Muta” “Okata”)

Once sits to up root a Military man   Rolling Eyes

ah i am sure if he called Prabha or Mervin with that language people probably will think he is been a bit too soft. I will judge him on his actions and not language!
