Perhaps the most sickening TV news item seen by Sri Lankans in recent times was the cold-blooded murder of the mentally ill Balavarnam Sivakumar of Ratmalana. It is understood that a police constable named Dimuthu Somnas has been remanded in connection wth this attack. A few of his fellow constables are also said to be likely to be taken into custody.

This killing is not due to his ethnicity. It is common for any one. The culprits need to be dealt with proper law. Do not think
such a dynamic HE President will let the culprits go free while whole world is watching. |

I agree with you that this probably had nothing to do with his ethnicity. But the dynamic HE doesn't have much of a good record in handling this sort of thing. The "whole world" was watching when Kudu Mervyn created mayhem at the SLRC. What did the dynamic HE do to him?? A big FAT NOTHING. The good for nothing is so emboldened by the lack of "dynamism" on the part of the HE that he had the balls to threaten a war hero openly at KIA. Again .. Your confidence is misplaced.
